Accenture, a multinational professional services company, has acquired Byte Prophecy- a big data analytics company based in Ahmedabad. This acquisition will add around 50 data science and data engineering experts to Accenture Applied Intelligence.
Byte Prophecy was founded in 2011 and has worked closely with Accenture for the last two years. Accenture has strengthened its existing consulting and technology capabilities with this acquisition. This comes amidst the massive digital and cultural transformation driven by Accenture, happening at an unprecedented speed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With this acquisition, Accenture will be focusing on insight automation.
The demand for AI researchers and data scientists has sky- rocketed in the past few years as businesses realize the advantages of data driven approaches.
