Amazon Honeycode: Build Apps Without Code

AWS has launched an app development tool – Honeycode, which will help non-coders build their own mobile/web apps using a simple drag and drop interface. Templates for common applications have also been provided and users can customize their apps whenever they wish, without worrying about deployment delays. All modifications made in the app are deployed immediately.

Anyone familiar with spreadshseets and formulae can use Amazon Honeycode to build apps, without knowing how to code. This gives non-coders an opportunity to build their own apps without having to take help from application developers.

Users can import data on the platform using CSV format and can design user interfaces for their apps using the palette options. Honeycode APIs can be used to bridge external applications. Apps having upto 20 users can avail the services for free. However, apps with a large user base would be charged for services. With the launch of Honeycode, AWS aims at maintaining its popularity over other rival cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud.
